CIVIS Consultores joined Espais Econòmics Empresarials (EEE) in Brussels, the public company owned by the Generalitat Valenciana and SEPIDES responsible for the development of the Sagunto Logistics Area, on the occasion of Connecting Europe Days 2026, held from 28 September to 1 October.
Organised by the European Commission, Connecting Europe Days is one of Europe’s leading events focused on transport and infrastructure. The forum brings together public administrations, European institutions, operators, companies and industry professionals to share experiences and showcase projects related to the development of European transport networks, intermodality, digitalisation and sustainability.
Participation in the event provided an opportunity to give international visibility to the Parc Sagunt II Intermodal Platform, a strategic 68.8-hectare rail freight hub connected to the Mediterranean Corridor and located in one of the main logistics and industrial areas of the Mediterranean region.
The future platform will strengthen Parc Sagunt II’s rail connections and its integration into the major European freight transport networks, promoting intermodality and enhancing the competitiveness of an area that is attracting significant industrial and logistics investment.
Connecting Europe Days also provides a valuable meeting point for sharing and learning about European initiatives in rail, road and air transport, as well as projects aimed at improving the efficiency and sustainability of transport infrastructure.
The development of the Parc Sagunt II Intermodal Platform involves CIVIS Consultores, TYPSA, Systra Ardanuy and the Rover Grupo–Becsa joint venture, together with Espais Econòmics Empresarials.
