The new Sagunto´s intermodal station is consolidating itself as a strategic infrastructure for the logistical and industrial development of the Valencian Community. In this context, students from the School of Civil Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València carried out a technical visit on the 5th of March . The activity, organized within the framework of the ROVER Chair , aims to bring civil engineering and infrastructure management closer to the academic environment.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe the progress of the works first-hand, analyze the construction solutions being implemented, and understand the technical challenges associated with an infrastructure of this scale. The event also included representatives from the regional administration, who highlighted the importance of promoting educational experiences that connect public works with the training of future professionals.
The technical team of the joint venture CIVIS‑ARDANUY‑TYPSA collaborated with Rover Grupo, Espais Econòmics Empresarials , and the Generalitat Valenciana in developing this high‑value academic and technical experience for civil engineering students.
