PROJECT
The level crossing in Meliana represents a significant risk point where tram traffic, road vehicles, and pedestrian routes converge. This is one of the actions considered a priority objective for Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) and the Valencian Railway Safety Agency (ASFV), audited by the Directorate‑General for Public Works, Transport and Sustainable Mobility of the Generalitat Valenciana.
The proposal enables the safe permeability of pedestrian–cyclist and vehicular flows while ensuring the operability of tram services.
It therefore generates improved conditions for urban and universal accessibility. In this regard, the proposed solutions align with SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” and SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities”.
