Work began on phase 1 of the Sagunto Intermodal Platform, in the Parc Sagunt II Logistics Area, on March 1, 2023. In its first phase, the public company Espais Económics Empresarials SL, will invest more than 81 million euros in the construction of a railway terminal equipped with a total of 12 loading and unloading and classification tracks, and more than 22 km of railway lines to become a logistics benchmark in the Mediterranean Corridor.
CIVIS CONSULTORES participates in a joint venture with Ardanuy Ingeniería S.A. and TYPSA., as successful bidders for the "Technical services for the execution and development of Phase 1 of the Intermodal Platform in the Sagunto Logistics area", carrying out, among others, the tasks of Technical Management of the Works, Health and Safety Coordination, and technical assistance in the preparation of railway safety documents and subsequent management of the terminal.
The contract has been awarded for an amount of € 2,179,100 excluding VAT, and an execution period of 24 months, linked to the term of the works.
