PROJECT
The Meliana level crossing is a documented safety risk — trams, road traffic and pedestrians converging at a single point. Its elimination is a priority for FGV and the Valencian Railway Safety Agency (ASFV), audited by the Directorate‑General for Public Works, Transport and Sustainable Mobility of the Generalitat Valenciana.
The project eliminates the conflict while maintaining full tram operability — pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles each with their own safe, uninterrupted path.
