CIVIS has collaborated in the AquaAlliance. AquaAlliance – Digitalisation for Sustainability, project, developed within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan; , funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
Through this contract, awarded by Veolia (Hidraqua), a total of 10 network improvement projects have been drafted in the municipalities of Xixona, Algueña and Mutxamel (Alicante). The aim of these projects is to implement digital transformation across the urban water cycle, addressing the challenges posed by climate change, optimising water resource management, and contributing to the preservation and improvement of water bodies.
These projects represent a short‑term investment of €6.5 million (VAT included) across the municipalities involved in the initiative.
