Alicante Tram Line 2, connects the city center trough the populated northern districts of the city, to General Hospital, University of Alicante Campus, and finally the town center of San Vicente del Raspeig, in the Metropolitan area of L'Alacantí.

The tram-line has a total lenght of 8 kilometres, always on surface, with the urban renewal of all the streets where it has been built, giving a new image to degradated neigborhoods.

CIVIS has participated, in a join-venture with ARDANUY, in the technical assistance of the Sector 3 of this line. A 1.800 m long dual railtrack along the "Alicante Avenue" in San Vicente municipality, including two tram-stops (University and San Vicente Town Center), and the redesigning of the University and San Vicente road access.
