Our work if this study, whose author is Clara García Mayor, Architect, included the design of the underground road and parking lot facilities. 

Commisioned by the Directorate of Ports and Transports fo the Regional Government "Generalitat Valenciana", the intention in the design was to renew all the maritime front of the city of Torrevieja (100.000 inhabitants), which have an intimate relationship with its port. 

The desgin proposed to keep all the traditional urban front as the commercial axe, and change all the port area very deeply. The old fishing facilities would be rellocated, and some new administrative and publib buildings would be built inside this area, in order to take there the city daily life, not only in working hours, but also in after-work hours and bank holidays, with a wide public space easier to use for music, theatre, and so on

Underground, a parking lot for more than 2.000 cars and a underpassing way between the north and south limits, would kept out the traffic from the new public space
